RSS At the Neal Awards sponsored by American Business Media in New York City today, PennWell's RenewableEnergyWorld.com and Fire Engineering were finalists in four categories.
RenewableEnergyWorld.com (REW.com) won two Neal Awards, one for "Best e-Newsletter-Linked Content" and one for "Best Recurring Webcast," beating out two other finalists in each of those categories. I was privileged to be in attendance along with REW.com News Editor Stephen Lacey who accepted the two Neal Awards on behalf of PennWell and the editorial team of REW.com.
Fire Engineering was also in attendance represented by Vice President/Group Publisher Eric Schlett and Executive Editor Diane Feldman. Fire Engineering was one of three finalists in the "Best Educational Content" and "Best Use of Social Media" categories, but unfortunately was not chosen from the three finalists in those categories as the award winner.
PennWell's receipt of these prestigious Neal Awards continues our 100-year-old tradition of editorial excellence which has set PennWell apart from our competitors in both print and digital. American Business Media's Neal Awards represent the highest editorial honors awarded annually in business-to-business media.
